Your project does not have to look exactly like something shown here—these builds are meant to help you see what is possible.

Sycamore Dining Table
The parameters for this build were to make the table bar height and make it match the chairs. I came up with the sycamore with walnut inlays and was told yes. Because the table is made for 8 people I decided to add a lazy Susan. This was done in walnut with a sycamore inlay.

Rustic Bed Frame
I originally built this frame for our spare bedroom. We needed a new bed and I came up with this idea. I made this rustic look by adding the large corner posts, whitewashed finish and square sleigh bed style. I decided to add the lights to the bed and they have been a hit with guests that have used the room. I completed the look by adding a couple of simple nightstands.
I was then asked to make the same style of bed for someone else because they liked it so much.
Walnut Dinette Table
When I was commissioned to build this table, the client wanted a dark top, a light base, and wanted it round. I showed her some options for the table base and this was the style she decided on. The contrasting colors, thick top, visible skirt, and stout base really made this a great looking table at the end.
Walnut Live Edge Table and Banquette
This was something new for me that ended up being a one of a kind work. The challenge was to make a banquette that fit in this bay window breakfast area and then make a table to match it. Oh and the table was made from a solid slab of walnut. I used epoxy to fill in the knots and voids and to straighten out the edges. I cut the table to match the profile of the banquette. Then I built the base and legs to match the same profiles. This total build looked amazing.

Walnut Farmhouse Table and Benches
The classics are still worth it. Nothing says classic like a farmhouse table and benches. The client gave me two directives; dark wood and farmhouse style. Easy enough...get some walnut, add a little joinery, throw on some finish, no problem. I am joking to a point. This was a simple build but the simple builds are where the small details really matter. Adding dowels, mortise and tenons, epoxy to fill the knots, chamfered edges, every detail had to pop. What a great looking set this turned out to be.
Ash Podcast Table
I was commissioned for this table with the directives of clean lines and masculine feel. We decided on ash for the table. I showed him some options for the legs and he choose this panel style with the cutouts. The overall feel of this table screams modern and expensive. My first time using ash, and I must admit, I like the look.
Walnut Bedframe
This bed is a custom king-size bed handcrafted from walnut and designed to serve as a lasting centerpiece for the home. The clients requested a substantial, dark-toned bed that would endure for a lifetime, so every component was built with strength, function, and timeless character in mind.
The design features paneled headboard and footboard assemblies, layered post details, chamfered side rails, and carefully routed joinery that secures the individual trim and panel inserts. Concealed mounting hardware creates a strong connection between the rails, headboard, and footboard while allowing the bed to be disassembled when it needs to be moved.
Natural knots and variations were preserved wherever possible. One unexpected knot void was stabilized with carbon-black epoxy, transforming a necessary repair into a distinctive detail. A hand-applied tung-oil finish deepens the walnut’s rich color and highlights the unique grain throughout the piece.
